The first thing you will want to do is to Create a Character. When you create a character, you will see all the alignments, races, classes, and ability scores. Kits are also supported, so you can select your favorite kit. While in Create Character, you can select a deity as well. A handy Info Mode lets you get information on alignments, races, and classes. In any window that shows your ability scores, you can move them around to suit your needs. You can create a character in minutes!
If you already have a character on paper, you can easily input it. Transfer all your characters to CharSys!
After you create your character (or input one), you'll want to Edit Proficiencies. And, of course, you'll need to equip your character, so you can Buy Equipment. If you wish to give your character hair, eye, and skin color, you can do this in Edit Character. If your character is a thief, you'll want to adjust his thief skill scores in Edit Thief. If he is a spellcaster, you'll want to give him spells in either Edit Wizard Spells or Edit Priest Spells. You can even select a portrait for your character!

Once you have your character created, you will want to print out a character sheet and do adventuring. Once done, you'll want to come back to CharSys and Edit Character where you can edit your character's experience points, hit points, and various other data. Of course, you no doubt accumulated a wealth of treasure, so you'll want to Edit Equipment, Edit Magic Weapons, and Edit Money.
Sound good? CharSys is a utility no serious gamer should be without. Here's what some people have said about it.

Bruce Sponagle - "Very cool application! Been waiting for something like this for years! Look forward to other developments! "
Alistair M. Chew - "Something to treasure as a Mac user."
Richard Lim - "Interesting and Useful Product. And it's for the Mac..."
Charles Alexander Zorn - "Incomparably useful and Mac-only, makes any Mac-gamer swell with pride! Also a stunning reminder that 2nd edition is real D&D, 3rd edition is a weak alien fake! CharSys rocks!"
